Our newest Torah pointer is created of hammered silver and consists of two halves connected at the tip with an axis adorned by two garnet stones. The pointer can be used in the closed position to read from the Torah. When it is “opened” the etched blessing before and after the reading from the Torah can be seen on one side or the other of the yad.
